Centenary Celebrations
2025 is the Guild’s centenary year, marking a century since the gathering at Knowsley Hall, Lancashire, which ultimately led to the formation of the Guild. The edition serves as a commemorative souvenir of this milestone.
The Guild’s New Mace
One of the most significant developments featured is the creation and presentation of a new Guild mace. During the Liverpool centenary celebrations, the mace was formally presented to the Prime Warden by Judith Cummins MP, Deputy Speaker of the House of Commons. The magazine includes articles on both the design and creation of the mace.
Liverpool Conference and Gala Dinner
The magazine reflects on the centenary conference held at Liverpool University and the formal dinner at the Victoria Gallery and Museum. Guild members gathered to celebrate the centenary and the achievements of the organisation.
